How to Remove Labels From Glass Jar
- Take the lids off your jars and lay them down in a wide, shallow container. I find that a glass baking dish works best.
- Pour enough rubbing alcohol into the container so at least part of the labels are submerged.
- Let the jars soak for about 15 minutes.
- Remove the jars from the rubbing alcohol and simply wipe away the label.
- If you have a stubborn label that won’t come off, place the jar back in the rubbing alcohol, let it soak for an hour, and try again.
- If you have a label that wraps around the entire jar, you’ll need to occasionally rotate the jar so each section of the label has a chance to soak in the rubbing alcohol.
- Once the labels and residue have been removed, place your jars in the dishwasher and run them through a normal wash cycle.
